Week 11 Photos In A Time Of Covid says it all. This post is late as today Thursday 24th March my head feels clear enough to write. I went down with Covid on Sunday the 20th, a lateral flow test and pcr confirmed I’d got the bug that is in ‘retreat’ according to the lie generating machine that is the Tory party.

Fern Textures
I decided to use ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) on a dead frond from our tree fern. A bit of playing around in Affinity Photo and this is the result.
March 14th
Scooter
Off to the Avon Meads shopping area, little America as it is sometimes called. We went to the cinema to see Sideshow the film that was shot in our house and which I worked as an editor. Very strange to see the interior of your home on a big screen but also wonderful that the project, after three years delay caused by the pandemic made it to the big screen.

Traffic
More ICM going on here to get that feeling of traffic in a city. This is for the booklet for the difficuly second album I’m working with singer and composer Simon Morecroft. Hopefully we can complete when I’m over this bug.

Parasol
Bit stuck for subject matter today so got my Gran’s old parasol out and shone some light through the painted paper cover.
March 17th
Dummy
The vintage shop down the road in Stokes Croft always has interesting mannequins.
March 18th
Chachkas
Visiting my oldest friend in London and there is always something strange and interesting on his table of Knick knacks
March 20th
Red
These doors in the brilliant spring sunshine caught my eye. A colour field painting?
Okay that’s it for week 11. Next week is looking more chancy as this bug is persisting, I already have days that are not covered so I’ll add those on at the end of this project. Hope you enjoy this lot.
