Andy And Me
365 Days Of Photography. Wet Day 6
A project that is 365 days of photography is susceptible to weather and today it is rain, rain, rain. Going out to photograph on the streets was not appealing. I stayed in and made some images with objects around the house. I then raided my back catalogue and layered up this image in Affinity Photo. It is often surprising what I find on the hard drives and up popped Andy Warhol so this is a bit of an homage to him. Although I suppose I’d need to do multiple versions of this in different colour ways to be a true homage.
If the weather gets bad again, and it will, I’ll be getting soup cans in front of the lens and go really pop art.
Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be kinder and I can get out into the city again and see what’s happening. More to the point make some new images. It was fun to put the picture above together and gave me a chance to trawl through my back catalogue. Always surprises me what I find there. At the last count I had 61899 shots on my hard drives. Looking at that figure it does make me wonder if I’ve done enough but then there’s always the next photo opportunity. And what point is there having a camera and a lens if they’re stuffed in a draw?
