Work tailed off a bit during May so a lot of the pictures are from the streets of Bristol. I have lived here a long time and had thought for many years I was too familiar with the city to find anything that would make a good photograph. Well I was soon disabused of that rather narrow thinking. I guess going out with the intent to make photographs opens up your eyes. Most of the time I am hurrying to go to a shop or the bank, get a hair cut, whatever. Taking the time, and one thing I did notice I had to slow my walking speed down a lot, to look reveals all sorts of possibilities. Rediscovering this city or even the small part of it I walked around most days was a real joy.
